
Affiliate Reps and Officers
Hello,
Myself and John, along with the entire CSSA Affiliate Committee members, are ready to announce some new initiatives for the affiliates. We will be hosting digital meetings with each region—one meeting quarterly with a different region. We will then host a meeting with all of the affiliates together. The goal is to better connect the national leadership with affiliates and the affiliates with each other.
We’ve set some dates/times for each region in a Google Form to collect availability and form a critical mass before we schedule meetings. Click your region below.

- All affiliates – this meeting will follow all of individual regional meetings and will be announced in the near future.
These are some questions for you all to take in, speak with your individual club members about, and to come prepared to discuss at your regional affiliate meeting.
- What does your club need?
- Think: marketing/communication supports, speakers, access to plants/materials, programming, etc.
- What do you need to grow/sustain/run your club?
- Do you want to participate in a Regional/National Conference and/or Regional/National Show & Sale?
- In what way?
- Do you think ^ is a bad idea? Why?
- Do you feel connected to the affiliate clubs/your regional clubs, the CSSA?
- What are some events/projects or items of note your club has got going on?
- Open call for input
To make our meeting a success it’s imperative to come prepared to speak (to above) and to other ideas/questions/needs. If anything else arises before, don’t hesitate to reach out.
