The people who make it all happen
Peter Breslin
Managing Editor of Cactus and Succulent Journal and Editor of Haseltonia
Peter has a Ph.D. from Arizona State University in cactus conservation, evolution and biogeography, focused on the Mammillaria and Cochemiea of Baja California. He has published widely on topics in cactus evolution and ecology, including being one of the authors of The Field Guide to Cacti and Succulents of Arizona, produced by the Tucson Cactus and Succulent Society. Last year, he conducted the sixth installment since 1964 of the long-term saguaro survey of more than 4000 saguaros on Tumamoc Hill in Tucson, Arizona. He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at The Desert Lab at The University of Arizona.
Linda Tamblyn
Editor of To The Point; Desktop Publisher for CSSA Journal and Haseltonia
After receiving a degree in journalism from the University of Kansas, Linda tried a variety of careers including catering chef, owner of a small business selling terrarium plants and supplies, and as production assistant for film crews. In 2000, she opened her own desktop publishing business specializing in horticultural publications. From an early age, plants have been a big part of Linda’s life. She currently lives in a suburb of Kansas City and maintains an eclectic collection of succulents, orchids, ferns, and every weird plant that catches her eye.
