About the Presenter

Stefan Campbell is a botanist, researcher, and author with a particular interest in the genus Copiapoa. His fieldwork and research have taken him throughout the Atacama Desert of Chile, where he has studied Copiapoa in habitat and documented the remarkable diversity, ecology, and conservation challenges of these iconic Chilean cacti. He is the author of Copiapoa—A Comprehensive Review of the Genus and Habitat Guide, published by the Cactus & Succulent Society of America.
