Joe Clements has been a dedicated CSSA member for over fifty years, with more than forty years of service as a board member. His career includes 25 years as a curator at the Huntington Botanical Gardens and 15 years as the Director of theJohn R. Rodman Arboretum at Pitzer College. Now retired, Joe continues to passionately advocate for the use of succulents and native plants in gardening. A strong believer in the power of shows to promote the hobby, Joe currently resides in Minden, Nevada, where he shares his home with his dog, Max.
