Karel Du Toit, Commander of the Springbok Stock Theft and Endangered Species Unit, was awarded a Conservation grant to purchase a drone for tracking and deterring plant poachers in Namaqualand.

The CSSA provided a grant to Karel Du Toit, Commander of the Springbok Stock Theft and Endangered Species Unit to assist law enforcement. The grant was used to purchase a drone to assist South African law enforcement in their battle against succulent plant poachers.
