CSSA Issues Request for Proposals

Branding and Social Media Development Needed

January 1, 2026 — The Cactus & Succulent Society of America, Inc. (CSSA) announces a Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified branding and design professionals to develop a refreshed visual identity system, branded social media templates, and optional ongoing social media management services.

CSSA is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the education, research, conservation, and enjoyment of cacti and other succulents. As the Society continues to grow and engage a broader, global audience, this initiative seeks to modernize CSSA’s visual presence while honoring its long-standing history and mission.

The selected partner will collaborate with CSSA across two primary project phases—Brand Discovery & Visual Identity Development and Social Media Templates & Visual Toolkit Development—with an optional third phase for ongoing social media management. The project will establish a cohesive, contemporary brand system designed to support member engagement, educational programming, events, and long-term organizational growth.

Key elements of the project include logo development (including a centennial logo), brand guidelines, color and typography systems, and a suite of customizable social media and digital communication templates. Vendors may also propose retainer-based social media management services as part of an ongoing partnership.

Proposals will be evaluated based on demonstrated experience, portfolio quality, understanding of CSSA’s mission and audience, clarity of process, timeline, and overall value.
