About the Presenter

Oakes Austin grew up in Massachusetts and has been passionate about cacti and succulents since the age of six. After being introduced to Steven Hammer through members of the Cactus and Succulent Society of Massachusetts, he began working with Steven in 2022. Since then, he has had the opportunity to help care for one of the country’s premier Haworthia collections, while also propagating numerous seedlings and cuttings.
