Since 1941, CSSA Biennial Conventions have brought together cactus and succulent enthusiasts, researchers, and growers from around the world.
Each convention featured a thoughtfully curated program of lectures by leading botanists, field explorers, conservation researchers, horticulturalists. They also offered field trips and social activities that balanced a depth appreciated by professionals with a broad appeal for advanced hobbyists.

Convention Programs
Convention programs highlight activities such as workshops, panel discussions, plant and art sales, shows and judging, auctions, and organized field trips or garden tours, creating many opportunities for learning and community engagement. Together, the conventions and their programs serve as a cornerstone of the Cactus and Succulent Society of America, fostering education, conservation awareness, and lasting connections within the cactus and succulent community.
