About the Presenter
Kelly Griffin is a highly respected plantsman, explorer, and hybridizer, best known for his work with succulents and his long-standing role with Altman Plants. With decades of experience in horticulture, Kelly has introduced numerous distinctive and widely cultivated succulent hybrids, many of which are now staples in collections around the world.

Beyond cultivation and breeding, Kelly is an avid field explorer with a deep interest in plant ecology and biogeography. His travels have taken him to remote and often challenging regions in search of rare and unusual species. Through this work, he has contributed to a greater understanding of succulent diversity and the environments in which these plants thrive.
Kelly is also known for his engaging speaking style, combining scientific insight with firsthand stories from the field, making his presentations both informative and accessible to a wide audience.
Kelly is a CSSA Board Member and President of the San Diego Cactus and Succulent Society.
